It turns speech into editable, time-aligned captions, lets you fix and style every word over the playing video, and exports an MP4 with the captions burned in. Creators, coaches, educators and podcasters who publish video, in English, Hindi, Spanish and many other languages.
Not a scene editor and not a voice tool: no transitions, music, B-roll or auto-zoom, and no dubbing, text-to-speech or voice cloning.
You upload an MP4, MOV or WebM. CaptionFX detects the spoken language, or uses the one you name, and transcribes the speech into words with timings. If you ask for another language, it translates the captions a segment at a time rather than word by word.
You then review the draft as editable text over the playing video: correct a word, retime a line, bleep or cut a word, and pick a caption style. Nothing is permanent until you export, and your original upload is never written over. Export renders the captions into the frames and gives you a new MP4.
CaptionFX was called Klipo until its rebrand. It is the same product under a new name and address, so older mentions of Klipo refer to CaptionFX. Support goes to captionfx.founder@gmail.com.
Clean English audio — a decent microphone, one speaker, no music — reaches roughly 95% of words correct. Clean Hindi reaches roughly 85-90%. Code-mixed Hinglish is a reviewable draft rather than finished text. Published benchmarks use studio-quality audio, so a real recording will do somewhat worse, which is why the editor is part of the product rather than an extra.
There is no subscription. Your first eligible project, up to five minutes, exports as a clean MP4 with no watermark. After that you buy credits, and an export costs credits per minute of video. The pricing page works through real examples.
